What should I expect on treatment day?

Get comfortable

Settle into a reclining chair and get comfortable for your session. Listen to music, use an eye mask, or simply close your eyes and relax.

Take your Spravato®

You'll give yourself the nasal spray while your care team guides you. We'll check your blood pressure and stay nearby throughout your treatment.

Settle in while the medication takes effect

You may feel relaxed, dreamy, floaty, or a little disconnected from your surroundings. Some people notice shifts in their thoughts or perspective; others simply feel relaxed or sleepy. The experience is different for everyone—and there's no particular way you're supposed to feel. We'll be nearby throughout.

Rest while we monitor you

You'll stay with us for about two hours while the effects wear off. Some people listen to music or rest; others find the time reflective. There's nothing you need to accomplish.

Head home and take it easy

Once you're ready to leave, your ride can take you home. Give yourself a quiet rest of the day and return to your normal routine the next day.

When will I start feeling better?

Some people notice changes in their depression symptoms as early as the first few treatments, while for others improvement builds more gradually. You might notice more energy, a lighter mood, or that everyday things start to feel a little easier. Don't be discouraged if you don't feel different right away—we'll track your progress throughout the first month and adjust your treatment plan with you.

Your Spravato® Prescriber

A physician trained in Colombia with a background in palliative care and experience in psychiatry and a PMHNP-BC licensed in Florida. Experience includes psychedelic-informed care with ayahuasca and psilocybin, including work in group and retreat settings. Completed KAP training with leaders such as Phil Wolfson, Bessel van der Kolk, and Ronald Siegel. In the prescriber role, provides psychiatric evaluations, intake, treatment planning, and medical oversight for ketamine/Spravato sessions. The approach is compassionate, patient-centered, and trauma-informed, with a focus on safety, collaboration, and supporting meaningful, lasting outcomes.

Amanda provides mental health services to clients of all ages and backgrounds.
