Journey Clinical was born out of our Co-founder Jonathan Sabbagh’s personal mental health transformation with psychedelic therapies. After gaining relief from chronic burnout and PTSD, Jonathan and our CEO Myriam Barthes wanted to support the millions of people living with mental illness in this country to access these powerful treatments safely and responsibly.
Today, Journey Clinical is the #1 Psychedelic-Assisted Psychotherapy platform with the largest network of licensed therapists in the US. Our collaborative care model connects a dedicated medical team, licensed psychotherapists and eligible patients, enabling the delivery of high quality mental healthcare at scale. We have started with Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy and look forward to continuing to expand access to new FDA-approved psychedelic modalities as they become available.
Journey Clinical was founded with a clear purpose: to build the clinical infrastructure necessary to deliver psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy at the highest standard of care. Since launching, the platform has grown into the largest network of licensed therapists offering Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) in the United States, with over 2500 trained providers across 21 states. The company operates a collaborative care model in which licensed psychotherapists, a dedicated in-house medical team, and patients work together throughout every phase of treatment. This model is designed to maintain clinical rigor, ensure patient safety, and support therapists with the medical resources they need to deliver KAP effectively. Journey Clinical's medical leadership includes board-certified psychiatrists and nurse practitioners with specialized training in ketamine treatment. The platform also invests in clinical research, outcome monitoring, and provider education to advance the responsible growth of psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy. Journey Clinical has been recognized by Business Insider and is backed by leading healthcare investors including Union Square Ventures.
